1st day : Arrival to Marrakech.

For the first day of the 10 day tour of Morocco, a client is picked from the airport in Marrakech. Following this we shall then take you for a brief tour within the city and then later drop you at your residential place. 2nd day : Marrakech – Essaouira.

The visit includes : the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, the Ben Youssef Quran or Karam appeal Mosque and few more. And shop on the largest traditional Moroccan souk. Lunch should be at most mid-noon depending with the chosen local time to be near the Scared Square or the Jemaa El-Fna square. 4th day : Marrakech to High Atlas mountains – Telouat Kasbah – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate  

Our Marrakech guide will come to pick you from the same hotel to take you early morning. Then head to the High Atlas mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass which is quite Roguish. These halts will be for the photographic shots that will have been planned to capture areas that are scenically most attractive. In front, there is the Kasbah of Telouat and we go there next. After that we move to visit the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah this is world famous. A village with walls that were awarded a status of a world heritage site. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including : I am talking about these movies: Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy and and the rest. When it comes to TV series, come on you bet your boots, even that show of savagery and rivalry, Game of Thrones. Next we go to the “Gate of the desert”, that is Ouarzazate. Characterized lit dinner and accommodation in a hotel.

5th day : Ouarzazate to Skoura (Kasbah Amridil) – Rose valley – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud -Merzouga Sahara – overnight in a luxury camp

In the morning following the breakfast, we tour the Atlas Studio films which are sections of the shooting of the movies. They also include the Taourirt Kasbah situated in Ourzazate. This is followed by a southeast path towards the Intricately enclosed Amridil Kasbah among palms in Skoura. Then, continue to Kingdom Rose valley similar to the one above. As it has been discussed, ordinarily a Rose Festival takes place in May and the people unveils their rose products. But few kilometers further we arrive to the Valley of Dades ; we stop to have a great Look at Dades Canion. We next proceed to todra gorges, this is a large valley that has been created through the mountains by the course of the todra river. Free time for lunch. Carnegie endorsed this company to Roaring Brook and to the gorges and yes, John, the view is very beautiful.

In the afternoon as was planned we are still moving and before the sunset we get to the Saharan area of Merzouga. Where you substituted the carriages with camels, where you cross the sandy barren. For you, a stop shall be made here to view the artistic sunset which is indeed possible if you proceed up the dunes. This is followed by a desert/village camp. That where you can listen the Berber drums music and dancing around the fire because star-twinkle is your ceiling in the vast universe. They take their lunch at the camp then prepare and take their dinner also spend the night at the camp.

6th day : Explore Merzouga region to Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga lake – Erg Chebbi – palm grove

Start your day with a visit to the Nomads in the Merzouga region and listen from them on how living in a desert is like. Interact with the Nomads so that to get an overview of their livelihood skills and lifestyle in a rugged but stunning region. After that, proceed to Khamlia, the neighboring village which is famous for the Gnawa music. Go to see a concert or join a local band and dance to brisk rhythms that would remind of the area’s history. Then, go to Merzouga Lake that is a beautiful village with a tranquil lake surrounded by the desert; good for photographs or just relaxing.

 Later in the day, discover one of the most famous sights in Merzouga desert, that is called Erg Chebbi with its long crested dunes of pinkish – gold color. It is recommended to climb the dunes by camel ride or 4 x 4 in order to assess the magnitude of the structure and greatness of the icon. You can spend some time in the afternoon to go for a leisurely stroll in the grove of palms nearby that offers a glimpse of greenery after having a desert day. End your day by watching splendid sunset on the dunes of Erg Chebbi which would sum up the cultural and natural discovery of the day.

7th day: Merzouga Dunes to Erfoud – Midelt – cedars forest – Ifrane – Fes

Begin your day early, departing from the mesmerizing Merzouga Dunes and heading towards Erfoud. As you travel, you’ll witness the transition from the vast desert landscapes to the diverse terrains of Morocco. In Erfoud, take a brief stop to explore this town known for its fossil-rich history and vibrant souks. Continue your 10 day Morocco tour from Marrakech towards Midelt, nestled in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. Here, you can marvel at the scenic beauty of the cedars forest, a lush contrast to the desert. Stroll through the forest and enjoy the serene atmosphere amidst towering trees.

In the afternoon, resume your journey towards Ifrane, often referred to as “Little Switzerland” for its charming alpine architecture and clean, crisp air. After a quick exploration of this picturesque town, proceed to Fes. Arrive in Fes by evening, where you can immerse yourself in the city’s rich history and vibrant medina, setting the stage for the next day’s adventures in Morocco’s cultural heart.         

8th day : Guided Tour Sightseeing Fes

The 8th day is set aside to go for a tour of Fes, which is one of the oldest and culturally rich cities in Morocco. Begin your day discovering Fes El-Bali medina which is easily one of the largest and most impressive medieval cities of North Africa with stunning architecture. Your guide will take you through the colourful markets which gives the live and sort feeling with the local markets of crafts, spices and fabrics.

Then, go to the Bou Inania Madrasa which is the most beautiful example of Moroccan art and is also famous for its tiles and the beautiful courtyard. Also, visit Al-Qarawiyyin University that is believed to be in existence since 859 A. D and now recognized as the oldest university in the world in continuous operation and its perfect library. Visit the tanneries, where you are able to witness the traditional tanning process of leather and at the same get to view the whole city. The day will be packed with interesting historical information and beautiful sights, which will let study and develop the culture of Fes.

9th day : Fes – Meknes – Volubilis ruins – Chefchaouen

Day nine is where the 10 days in Morocco itinerary goes from Fes to Meknes, this is an imperial city. When you get there discover other attractions in Meknes such as; Bab Mansour, Place El Hedim among others. What is more, those images reflect the history of the city and show its architectural conquests.

Secondly, go to the Roman era archaeology site in Volubilis where you will be able to walk around the remaining elaborate floor mosaics and the remains of a great civilization. They leave a lot to be desired and when combined with the rolling hills, make for good historic background and photo-shots.

In the afternoon proceed to the amazing city of Chefchaouen also referred to as the “Blue City. “ On arrival it engage itself in the beautiful blue-flushed alleys and lively bazaars. Calmness and the amazing mountain scenery are the major features of this beautiful town. Stroll in the evening around the Chefchaouen and discover the beauty of this city, enjoy the calmness of night there.

10th day : Transfer to Tangier airport

On the 10th day after having breakfast consider going for a walk around counting the astonishing streets of the Chefchaouen or the blue city if the time allows before your flight. After that take a road trip through the Rif Mountains Tangier airport. This will be the final day of your Morocco 10-day tour.
