Morocco Itinerary : 3 Day Fes to Marrakech desert tour

1st day: Fes to Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara

This 3 days Fes to Marrakech desert tour starts from the airport or your hotel in Fes and this is the tour itinerary. We proceed down south and pass through Imouzzer to get to Ifrane; this place is colder, experiences snow fall and has alpine like houses and thus nicknamed the Switzerland of Morocco. The subsequent destination we get to is the Cedars Forest where the resident monkey in Lebanon namely the Barbary Macaque lives. It can be used any time you are out with the birds especially when you are Nature Trekking in the forests. Next desitination is Midelt where we will have our lunch. We then reach the desert which is the Sahara and while getting there we pass through Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and then follow the Ziz river up to the Saharan of Merzouga. where you ride the camels and open the mouth and gulp the desert of sand. You will be allowed to peep at the ubiquitous beauty that is sunset while sitting on a ridge of the sand dune. Last, we get to desert camp; here you will be delighted by other Berber drums music and dancing by the fire, at the night with stars. Lunch at the said camp Dinner and stay at the said camp.

2nd day : Merzouga Sahara to Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley 

Based on the insight one should set the alarm clock in the morning to see mid of the desert gracefully greeting the sun. Then they have breakfast and relaxation, then they ride camels back to Merzouga, and the driver is already waiting for them there. From the desert we have to move towards the Rissani town or more precisely we are going to discuss the history of Tafilalet’s capital. They hold rose festival in may, where the locals come up with rose products like; rose scent, rose water, oil and other beauty enhancing products. We then drive through palms of Skoura on our way before reaching the gite. We then proceed to Ouarzazate, this Morrocan city is usually nicknamed as the door of the desert. We shall go to the studios which recorded popular movies. The following day we officially visit one of the most famous Kasbahs of the world the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Copper Age to Bronze Age archaeological site of a village with acropolis characteristics, which has been preserved and included in the UNESCO list. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including : Some of the action packed movies produced in Hollywood are; Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and more. And series like Game of Thrones. And then comes the next desination which is Marrakesh. The attractive area of the High Atlas and coming over the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. There will be time to take snack and some time to feel like take photos. Therefore, the last destination is Marrakesh; we drop you at the airport or to your hotel. End of the tour
