1st day : Marrakech to High Atlas Mountains – Ounila Valley – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- Ouarzazate

Our 4 days trip from Marrakech to Merzouga desert starts immediately by a pick up as you arrive either at the airport or your hotel in Marrakech. Then continue through the small but beautiful High Atlas mountains and also Tizi-N-Tichka pass. These will be visited during brief stop overs to take beautiful shots of beautiful scenes. Next we are proceeding for this great Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou for the visit, the kind of one of the oldest villages that has a denomination of world heritage according to UNESCO. Also, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including : Starting from Gladiator, passing through Alexander, to The Mummy and everything in between. this takes us to “The gate of the desert”, yes the city of Ouarzazate famous for movies and specifically the production of the famous ‘ Game Of Thrones’. Supper and also accommodation in a hotel for the night.

2nd day : Ouarzazate to Agdz -Draa Valley – Nkob – Rissani – Merzouga Desert – Camel trekking – overnight in a luxury camp 

After the taking of our breakfast in the morning, we go round the city of Ouarzazate. The first place that is identifiable is the studio; Atlas Films which has been the scene of many shooting of movies. Then our 4 days trip from Marrakech to Merzouga desert shell continue as we  visit the Taourirt Kasbah : an antique of arrangements, made from bricks. It is for this reason that now we divert southwards to Agdz and rejoin the Draa Valley; it is the longest of all rivers in Morocco. We will use it for transport as well as some photography worthy areas such as views of the palm tree stretches, Kasbah structures, and the Berber settlements. Stopover at Nkob or Alnif – leisure. We then proceed to the Saharan logistic of Merzouga by passing through Rissani for Lunch. When we get to the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, then you change to camels since they are suitable in crossing large distances in the desert.

 After that, you have your meal at a big dune, then a halt will be made for you on the top of the big dune where you are supposed to see set. Then, go to the camp, which is midterm between the Arabs’ temporary tents and the hotel. You can listen to the Berber drums, dance until midnight around the fir, and the chimera in the campsite as stars are the ceiling over you. Thereafter, dinner will be provided in the camp before spending the night in the camp as well.

3rd day : Merzouga Sahara to Rissani  – Erfoud  – Todra Gorges – Boumalne Dades

On the third day of the 4 days trip from Marrakech to Merzouga desert, we wake up early morning so that we can follow the sun’s rise in the middle of the desert. Breakfast time will be provided and after that you’ll be back on camels to Merzouga where the driver will be waiting for you. We come out of the desert and proceed to Rissani town; Rissani was the chief town of Tafilalet locality. Another market which is frequently used within the area is known as Rissani market or souk and customers take their goods which are marketed within the listed days of Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Continuing with the tour, from the walk we do through the souk of Rissani we then head to Erfoud and get to see one of the firms that traded in the fossilized marble. We then gradual continue with our road passing through the palm plantation of Touroug and Tinjdad until we reach the Todra Gorges. Transportation of water through todra takes place through a big valley that forms a beautiful cliff sided gorge.

 Hence, these gorges are most suitable for rock climbing. The gorges can be walked through and they are terrific; probably raunchy to the vast majority. Go for lunch at a restaurant which should be considered as the break for the performing of work responsibilities. We move to Dades valley Boumalne after covering the preceding valley known as the valley of Remanna. Before concluding there is of course the obligatory and traditional pull-over which has been referred to or christened ‘monkey fingers’. And once we have place ourself on the top of a hill looking at the vocanically formed Dades gorge region. Lastly, dinner and a night’s stay was gotten at a hotel.

 4th day : Dades Valley to Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – Amridil Kasbah -High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech 

Thus, on the fourth day of your 4 day desert tour from Marrakech you will be first going to, Kalaa Magouna to see the Rose valley. There is a Rose Festival every may of the year and the people offer their rose products; may it be perfume, rose water, oil, or cosmetic items. We then move through different Kasbahs; our first stop is at Amridil Kasbah which is lodged in the Skoura palm groves. This could be the day to visit Ouarzazate; accompanied by a guide most of the time and when possible break in the city for lunch. We continue our journey to Marrakech by car Cross through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass & through the High Atlas Mountains. Finally we will either drop you at your hotel or the airport direct in Marrakesh.
